The BDA has developed three industrial estates in Bintulu. Two of the industrial estates cater for light industries. They are Bintulu Light Industrial Estate (BLIE) and Kidurong Light Industrial Estate (KLIE). The other is Kemena Industrial Estate Phase I (KIE I) which is mainly for timber-based industries. The BDA is also developing another industrial estate known as Kidurong Industrial Area (KINDA) where all the lots have been either sold or committed to potential investors. The industrial lots at the BLIE, KLIE and KIE I are no longer available.
The land sale price is RM544,000 per hectare (RM220,000 per acre) subject to revision from time to time.
