BINTULU: The officers and staff members of Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) have joined their counterparts from other government agencies in signing the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) integrity pledge.

Rodziah (third left) and her team of BDA senior officials take the pledge, witnessed by Marcel (second right).

The ceremony was held in conjunction with Innovation and Integrity Week 2017 at BDA auditorium here on Wednesday.

The programme commenced with a talk by MACC Bintulu assistant superintendent Jawa Milu, followed by the integrity oath declaration led by BDA general manager Rodziah Morshidi.

She later signed the corruption-free pledge, witnessed by MACC Bintulu director Marcel Bulan Ngabong.

According to a statement by BDA, the commitment to integrity pledge was part of the agency’s efforts in strengthening the quality and integrity of management in the organisation.

“It is also to increase the awareness among the officials of their duties and responsibilities as civil servants,” it said.
