Work with high integrity, BDA enforcement team told

BINTULU:  The uniformed personnel of Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) are in the forefront of enforcing the laws and regulations of the local authority.

Saying this was its  deputy general manager Abdullah Mohd Sheriff during an assembly of the uniformed personnel at Wisma Bintulu here yesterday.

“For us to work efficiently, we need to have high integrity and trustworthiness so that public confidence on us will remain high and us the enforcement ream will always be trusted by the people A total of 170 uniformed personnel gathered for the assembly.

Abdullah, who represented general manager Rodziah Morshidi, said the uniformed personnel of BDA must also be highly disciplined when carrying out their duties.

“Avoid abusing your power especially for personal interests.”

In an unrelated development, he said BDA would be sending a contingent for the National Day parade on August 31 and hoped that they would do their best and bring glory to the BDA.

BDA assistant general manager (Environmental Services) Wan Ibrahim Wan Ali, secretary Siti Aishah Othman and other senior officials were also present at the assembly.
