BINTULU: The Sarawak government remains committed to ensuring the welfare and well -being of its people are protected.

Jepak Assemblyman Datuk Talib Zulpilip said, this is proven by the various assistance given to all Sarawakians under the leadership of Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.

Speaking at the symbolic handing over ceremony of the land premium of the Jepak lot at the Laman Selera compound, Kampung Warisan Jepak,

Talib hoped that the local community would continue to cooperate with the relevant government departments and agencies in ensuring the continuity of development.

At the same time, he hopes the recipients can use the refund money prudently.

A total of 50 lot land owners involving Kampung Jepak Permai and the Jepak Phase One and Two Expansion areas received letters of refund of the land premium of Jepak lots.

Payment will be credited into the recipient's account starting April 19.

Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) Deputy Chairman Datuk Haidar Khan Asghar Khan and BDA Deputy General Manager Abdul Rahim Abdullah were also present.
