BDA kaji, pantau kawasan rekreasi ada rekod kes, berpotensi datangkan bahaya kepada pengunjung.

Bintulu : Lembaga Kemajuan Bintulu (BDA) akan memastikan tempat-tempat rekreasi di sekitar Bintulu selamat dikunjungi bagi mengelakkan berlakunya sebarang kejadian tidak diingini, kata Pengurus Besar BDA Datu Hj. Mohidin Ishak.
Katanya BDA dengan kerjasama pihak berkuasa berkaitan akan melakukan kajian serta pemantauan di beberapa kawasan rekreasi yang mempunyai rekod kes serta berpotensi mendatangkan bahaya kepada pengunjung.

BINTULU TO HOST INAUGURAL KITE CHAMPIONSHIP

BINTULU: The inaugural Asia Pacific Sport Kite Championship will be held  here Sept. 26-30 during the 8th Borneo International Kite festival (BIKF) 2012. It will be participated by 15 teams comprising local and international teams of three participants per team. The international participants come mostly from countries in the Asia pacific region.

The organizer is Bintulu Development Authority(BDA). Its assistant general manager Bohari Kipli told the press that they were expecting kite flyers from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Singapore, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand.

Samalaju park set to attract RM13 bln worth of investment

BINTULU : Samalaju Industrial Park in the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE) is set to attract RM13 billion worth of investment from 16 foreign companies.

This will also generate 11,000 job opportunities in the future, said Second Minister of Resource Management and Environment  Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan at Samalaju Industrial Park in Bintulu yesterday.

“ This is still at the consultation stage,” he said, while pointing out that these companies are from Korea, India, China and the Middle East.

Awang Tengah said up to date, SCORE has attracted several other companies to invest in 17 projects with a total investment of RM24.63 billion.

5-6 May - Melalui Program Penghayatan 1 Malaysia oleh Jabatan Penerangan ini, Lembaga Kemajuan Bintulu telah membuka kaunter Khidmat pelanggan untuk memberi peluang orang awam dating terus membuat aduan, masalah dan cadangan kepada pihak Lembaga Kemajuan Bintulu, Aduan akan diterima dan disalurkan secara ‘on-line’ melalui tele-khidmat.
