BINTULU: The inaugural Asia Pacific Sport Kite Championship will be held  here Sept. 26-30 during the 8^th Borneo International Kite festival (BIKF) 2012. It will be participated by 15 teams comprising local and international teams of three participants per team. The international participants come mostly from countries in the Asia pacific region.

The organizer is Bintulu Development Authority(BDA). Its assistant general manager Bohari Kipli told the press that they were expecting kite flyers from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Singapore, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand.

5-6 May - Melalui Program Penghayatan 1 Malaysia oleh Jabatan Penerangan ini, Lembaga Kemajuan Bintulu telah membuka kaunter Khidmat pelanggan untuk memberi peluang orang awam dating terus membuat aduan, masalah dan cadangan kepada pihak Lembaga Kemajuan Bintulu, Aduan akan diterima dan disalurkan secara ‘on-line’ melalui tele-khidmat.
